Vintage Embroidery Techniques
All the things your Granny didn't tell you! In this workshop you'll learn a selection of basic hand embroidery stitches as well as what kinds of fabrics, needles, frames, and threads to use so that you know where to start and what kind of projects to do at home. You'll learn various ways of transferring designs to both light and dark fabrics, and I'll also introduce you to different kinds of embroidery.

Experimental Hand Embroidery
For those of an adventorous nature.... We'll eplore some basic hand embroidery sitches, learning classic techniques and then extending them to see what interesting effects we can produce. We'll also do some mark making with ink and paper and take those ideas into mark making with thread on fabric - so that you can start creating your own (abstract) embroidery designs.
£50 (+ optional project pack £5)
